Sally Holkar graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Political Science. She married in India and has lived there since 1979. She co-founded REHWA Society in 1978 and headed that organisation until 2000. In 2003, she founded WomenWeave Charitable Trust and presently serves as Founder CEO.
Sharda Gautam is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from NIT-Surat and Gold Medalist from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). After a brief stint with General Motors, he has been working in the domain of non-farm livelihoods in rural areas of Orissa and Chattisgarh for past 6 years. He is presently serving as Executive Director of The Handloom School.
His areas of interest include collective action and community institution building. He is an avid blogger and does amateur poetry.
